First Perfect Sentiment's Challenge!

Today marks the launch of The Perfect Sentiments Challenge! The first challenge is to create a Sympathy Card, but with a twist; use lace somewhere on your card. Here is my example:

With this card I used a digital image from Glitterbabe Greetings, the Lilli. I printed it out on the orange patterned cardstock, then painted parts of it with acrylic paint. I also used some glitter pens to add more detail to the lilli. The papers have a vintage feel, which I think is classy and in the middle I used some old text that I ripped. I placed the lace over it to tame the look of the card down.

This week's challenge is sponsored by Glitterbabe Greetings!

  2. Hi Shelly!! I love your creation!!! The blend of colors and everything placed in its perfect place to create this is wonderful!!

  3. It's amazing what you did with that Lilly. I almost didn't recognize it at first. Lots of great technique used here!

  4. Fabulous job on your card. I love that flower and you did an amazing job on coloring it. Also love your layout. An all around fabulous job.

  5. Your card is really beautiful. I love how you worked with the digi image - it was very creative. No wonder the lily turned out to be so gorgeous! I really love the lace over the text - another creative idea that worked out well. So glad to have such talent on our team!
